In response to COVID-19 we have enacted an emergency modification to our intake policy. Effective immediately, we will not offer shelter service to those outside our region ( Region 12-Allen, Auglaize, Mercer counties). This is essential for prevention and best utilization of our already limited community resources.
Due to COVID-19 we have noticed a decrease in the in-kind donations that we rely on the run the shelter. With the absence of gatherings and group meals we are not receiving prepared food donations and limited household supplies. This week we put out a request for fabric masks to protect our staff and residents and were blessed by two groups. They loving gave of their time, talent and material to help us out in this time of need and had them ready the same day! Thank you from the bottom our hearts!
