Thank you for your support of Samaritan House’s 35th Anniversary Celebration and Giving Campaign. We are forever grateful for your generosity and for the difference your support makes for those who have been displaced by homelessness and/or domestic violence. We strive to assist those who are going through a difficult time to have a peaceful, restorative place to lay their head while they work to gain independence and a positive future. We could not do the work that we do without you, our friends in the community.
It was so wonderful to gather together once again for a great cause. Joy filled the room! Although the challenges of running a shelter and pulling off an event of this size was a bit overwhelming – WE did it! Whether your part was large or small, no part of was insignificant.
We are happy to report that over $27,600 was raised, which will go toward the overall operation of the shelter. In the last year alone, 11,856 meals were served and 3,952 shelter units (one person, one night) were provided to 168 women and children. Thank you for your support- you have helped to change lives!
