You helped make our 39th Raisin’ Bread Anniversary Celebration a tremendous success! Thanks to your generosity, more than $40,000 was raised to support Samaritan House and the women and children who depend on us throughout the year. Your support helps us keep our doors open, provide for the daily needs of our residents, and maintain our 38-room, three-story home—a building that has stood for more than 130 years and continues to serve as a place of refuge for those who need it. Most importantly, your generosity makes a difference in the lives of the people who walk through our doors. Over the past year, Samaritan House provided 14,826 meals and 4,942 nights of shelter to 212 unduplicated women and children. Behind every number is a person—a mother, a child, a family—who needed a safe place to rest, regroup, and take the next step forward.
We are so grateful for the many ways you showed up for Samaritan House. Some of you joined us in person, while others supported the celebration through sponsorships, financial gifts, auction donations, prayers, and so much more. You made a difference!
For someone going through a difficult season, having a peaceful and restorative place to lay their head can mean more than we sometimes realize. A stay at Samaritan House may be temporary, but the hope, encouragement, and opportunity found here can help create a lasting path toward greater stability and a positive future. We could not do this work without you. Thank you for believing in Samaritan House, for investing in our mission, and for helping make sure there is a place of refuge for women and children when they need it most.
