As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has continued to impact nonprofits in many ways, including increased demand for services, lost revenue due to closures, and the cancellations of numerous fundraisers that support nonprofits year round.

Last year, United Way held the first Week of Giving campaign to support local nonprofits impacted by COVID-19, and this year they are doing it again. Week of Giving is a virtual peer-to-peer fundraiser held July 25th – 31st and provides an easy to use system for nonprofits to fundraise through.

If you were fortunate during this very difficult time and feel that you and/or your business, group, church, club or committee would like to make a contribution to Samaritan House and/or other local non-profit, we would be grateful for your support. Please follow the link set up by the United Way to make a donation. All proceeds benefit the organization(s) you choose. We ask for your help in spreading the word about the United Way’s Week of Giving to not only benefit Samaritan House but also the many other local non-profit organizations that rely on community support. Please share this information on social media and your email contacts.

To donate to Samaritan House please follow this link and click on the donate button on the left side of the page. You can also click the links on the right side of page to share through social media and email. If you would like to check out other local non-profits participating in the United Way’s Week of Giving you can find the page at www.classy.org/campaign/2021-week-of-giving/c348093 and select the fund raising team you would like to support.

United Way is asking individuals to consider giving $21 in 2021 to help impact our local non-profits. Every dollar raised will go directly to the non-profit you choose. Thank you for supporting our local non-profits and the individuals they impact every day!

Thanks so much for your thoughts, prayers and continued support!
